Who it is for

People who can already name a swing high and a swing low, and who want a watched hour of marking rather than a review of their past trades. The desk is practice. It is not a reading of your journal.

What you leave with

You keep the marked pack. The sheets show structure first, then one level, then a stop where further marks would hide the bars.

  • Pencil, straightedge, and a spare sheet if a page is over-marked and needs to be started again

Who sits with you

Park Minjae leads the desk. He came to the room as a student in 2019 and has marked charts with students since 2022. He trained as a draughtsman, and the desk keeps that habit: few lines, each one able to be erased.

Order of the hour

  1. Choose daily bars or thirty-minute bars when you write. The hour uses one bar size.
  2. Arrive to a cleared desk. The pack is already clipped, or you lay out the pack you brought.
  3. The first sheets are structure only: swing highs and swing lows, nothing else.
  4. Later sheets add one level the session used, such as a prior day high or a range edge.
  5. Minjae stops the pencil when the sheet can no longer be read from arm's length. A crowded page is traced again on a fresh sheet.
  6. You leave with the pack. The room does not keep a copy unless you ask us to hold it for a later journal sitting.

What to bring

  • If you bring your own charts, print them large enough that a wick is visible, with no titles you need us to read aloud
  • Pick the bar size before you arrive
  • Wear nothing that will smear pencil; the desk is paper, not a screen

Limits of the booking

  • Wednesdays, by appointment, one student at the desk
  • The hour teaches marking. It does not select trades
  • Screens stay closed on the desk so the pencil work is what gets reviewed
